White Canyon Design (WCD) has been creating branding solutions independently for over 19 years. Both members of the design team worked for large brand consultancies for more than 10 years prior to forming their own design firm in 2002. They have experience in a wide variety of design disciplines, including: retail store design, product design, entertainment design, corporate branding, packaging, UX/UI and web for many global brands. Initially WCD worked primarily as an external design outsourcing destination for unique conceptual design work for in-house design teams in need of a fresh approach. Since that beginning they’ve built their own diverse client base, but continue to support other design firms in need of creative solutions. The team generally focuses on projects within the following categories: Clothing & apparel, heath & beauty, housewares, food & beverage, pet care, hardware, home entertainment, motorsports and environmental & cultural awareness.
Design work created by the team has received awards and features in publications by the following organizations/entities: Newsweek, Business Week, Graphic Design USA, Communication Arts, Art Directors Club, American Corporate Identity, Icon Awards, Graphis Packaging, AIGA, VM&SD, Chain Store Age, Exhibit Design Awards, Packaging Design Council, NASFM, IDSA/IDEA.
